There is much good news this year.

Came a comfortable first overall with 22 match points to second place Havant’s 16, securing the Hants indoor Title. A Respectable 6885/7000 over the year means that 115 points were dropped over 70 cards.

There are several accolades won here; Highest League Aggregate, Div 1 Winners, as well as Mark Shim recieving runner up in the individual averages with an enviable 99.29

B TeamDiv 4Runners Up – W8 D3 L3

Put up a strong fight but finished 2 match points behind the leader Alton. The highest aggregate in the division of 6732 showed the B team were serious contenders this year. Charlie Asquith Came Third in the averages for the division.

C TeamDiv 7Winners - W12 L2

Two final wins Secured the top place, drawing on match points with AWRE, but with an aggregate 85 points higher! (6649) A Truly deserved win.

D TeamDiv 10Runners Up – W11 L3

A fantastic result for the D team, finishing 4 match points behind the leaders Fareham. A result to be proud of! (6460)

E TeamDiv 11, Winners W13 L1

Despite the first loss of the year by 5 points to the JLP in Rnd 13, we came through to win the division by 1 match point, and over 50 aggregate points! (6521) Higher than the winning team in Div 10.

F TeamDiv 11, Sixth – W6 L8

Unfortunately weren’t able to fight their way into third but still came in 6th, losing out on 5th place by one single aggregate point. Still an amazing result for a team which has had some very good shooting, dragged down by some desperate substitutions later on in the season. (6232)

In Div 11 (E/F teams)

Matt Beadle won the accolade of highest division average of 94.07 (the only one for the club this year) Barry Stovold Came in Third with 93.36, and Lawrence Greenfield came in Fifth at 93.07, despite a monumental screw up of the second card of the season! Scones also finished top ten with 8th place of 92.64. Also worth a mention is Chris Bell of the F team who narrowly missed out on top 10 with 11th place of 92.00.

A massive thank you and well done to every single person who shot even a single card in hants this year. Clearly every single point has  counted and for all teams but 1 to finish top 2 is a result which really reflects very well on all of you. It has also thrown up plenty of very promising talent for future years.

Mary has asked me to pass on her congratulations to everybody.
